I's expecting Millions of deaths. The government has asked people to use their common sense to stay safe. But there is a cronic shortage of common sense in the U.K these days

Just read about a 21 year old female from Buckinghamshire died after contracting the virus, totally healthy with no underlying problems.
This isn't just another form of the flu, young healthy people don't die from the flu. Maybe this news will bring these air heads down to earth after ignoring pleas to stay home.

Another factor is cultural. Italy does have an old population but many more families in Italy have 2 or 3 generations living together in the same house than in Germany (i.e. kids living with their parents and grandparents in the same house). This has really shafted them as the youngies have passed it easily to the olds and, as we know, the latter are far more susceptible to dying from the virus. The Spanish also have this culture.

UK culture is similar to Germany, in this respect, and so good for you. Not so much for us here where the culture is more like in Italy.
The health system here in Germany is one of the best in the world, but we pay for it though.

Just seen this on a news ticker.

This Virus doesn't discriminate who gets it, young, old., rich or poor.

Read something about a different strain of Covid found in Italy.

As the saying here in Germany goes, Bleib Gesund.

    Stay healthy everyone.
