The other club I'm looking for were based in Rotherham, Yorkshire. So it's not Eckington.

Clue for the team we last beat away on a Thursday.
Something unusual for the time happened and it made the TV news.

We have beaten Swansea away on a Thursday in 1957, but we've beaten somebody else away on a Thursday since.
Swansea are not based in Rotherham, so they are not the answer to no.2 either.

Workington was indeed the last team we beat away on a Thursday.
    Thu 08/Apr/1971 4th tier workington W 1-0 2 986 Barker

The unusual thing about it was that we flew to the game, which nobody did in those days and the team were filmed boarding the plane for ATV today.

What about Question 1.........I take it three was wrong so I'll go for two.

For Question 2, Is Dinnington Town one ?

We've never played Dinnington Town, or at least not in a competitive game.

For question 1. How many times have we lost by more than 6 goals at home........
    It's not two or three.
