Archie, our kid never buys anything, maggots, sweetcorn, luncheon meat.....he borrows it from my fridge in the garage but forgets to bring any back....

France allowing fishing as from Monday, fingers crossed we will follow soon

Opened yesterday here. Anglers with itchy rods were lining up for the gates to reopen at our local lake/park at dawn yesterday. Even had the pleasure of a TV crew there to film with them messing with their tackle. Social distancing markers laid out along the dock to keep them apart. Not sure what they catch there, lake trout I believe.

on youtube it seems to be Bass are the most popular target for US anglers, Carp, which are much sought after here appear to be a nuisance fish over there .
