Wasn't just that tho nardendee we had also been on a shyte run at home against crap teams...we also were gonna have icky out for a while..it dint look good...we are gonna need some serious squad building for next season (assuming we go up )if we dont wanna plummet straight back...
Still say deciding this season on ppg it's not how it should be done + there'll be appeals from clubs who feel they lost out. How the league tables were when this season was suspended should be the final positions. Top 2 go up only cause there's no play-offs. 2 down from the championship. Bottom club only relegated from league 1. League 2 two up. I down from league 2. 2 up from the National league to even the EFL up.
I'm sure the EFL and many cship clubs would prefer the likes of Sunderland and Portsmouth to get promoted with their history, bigger stadia and fanbase
They won't want scruffy yo yo teams like us as we seemed to be labelled with all too regularity.
Should be beating teams like Rotherham
How did we lose to them
I mean Rotherham, come on
If we loose to Rotherham it's time to pack it in
Bring it on
Chuffin ell!
"points per game" means average points per game.
If a team has the second highest points per game when the season is suspended it will still have the second highest points per game if you apply it to games not played - basic arithmetic.
Slightly (very slightly) more complicated if you do home/away weighting but same principle applies.
You keep posting that you think positions should be determined as they stand now - that's nothing at all to do with points per game
Good to see Oxford have breezed into the weighted promotion places.
We were told that they were the best team in the league
