    Fox in the box?

More likely on the bench, but anyway: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...rwell-22158828

A strange bit of news. I'd assumed that PJ Morrison would assume the deputy's role but perhaps he's showing no signs of accepting an extended deal. If we're cutting back on squad numbers can we aqfford Fox?

Scott Burns reporting that Scott Fox will sign for us on 1 year deal and Yusuf Hussein will sign a 2 year extension. Unconfirmed rumour that we're also talking to Steven Lawless.

Morrison is hardly a kid now, if we think we need Fox as backup instead it doesn't seem a ringing endorsement.

Assuming it goes ahead and Fox signs it’s a sensible move to get a good backup. Look how Gillespie proved essential when Trevor got his DVT problem, so Fox will push Trevor and be an experienced keeper if a problem arises.

Adequate cover if he comes in.
