Norwich City v Burnley Match Preview

The Canaries have lost their last 9 games in all competitions and will be keen to end that slump on what is their last home Premier League appearance before returning to the Championship. Their budget has been even tighter than Burnley’s and while their relegation has been inevitable since Pukki’s early season goals dried up they have won many friends despite their dismal results. No doubt several of their players will be sought after and I would think Aarons, Cantwell and Buendia would be targets for other clubs. Burnley along with their other known absentees may now be without Charlie Taylor and Jay Rodriguez but SD continues to work the oracle with his very stretched resources. Nick Pope remains in contention for the Golden Gloves so a win and clean sheet will be very welcome in our penultimate game of the season. A goal for Josh Brownhill would be nice to see. COYC!

Brownhill certainly has a tendancy to get in better positions going forward than our other CMs. Great to see. I think he should chip in with more goals just because of that alone!

Never been a happy hunting ground for me hasn't Carrow Road. Glad I can't go!

Two wins to end the season would be welcome, but we really are at bare bones time now.

I love Norwich, my favourite away trip, but frustratingly for me we seem to have been swopping divisions for the last 8/9 years, so I've been missing out on my favourite weekend away. This season, at last, the trip was on again, until the fixtures came out, and when we were playing at Norwich, we were already booked to be on cruise in the Med, just the one away game I couldn't get to this season, and it was the Norwich game, you couldn't make it up. Then Mrs S told me we'd drawn them in the cup, great I thought the trip was on again, but she forgot to tell me we were at home, so the trip was off again. So the cruise gets cancelled, the original fixture is cancelled and tomorrow it's behind closed doors so still no Norwich trip. And next season we stay up and they're back in the Championship. FFS

I like Farke but, unfortunately,he hasn't had much to work with,I hope they keep him on.From what I've seen on TV I like Cantwell, right age and I doubt the big clubs will want him, worth a bid?

Cantwell, Aarons and Buendia would all be welcome additions to our squad imo.
