Someone who works for me has holiday booked. I’ve told him if you go and when you come back you will have to self isolate I won’t be paying you.

The look on his face was priceless almost like how dare you.
    He can do one.

Yeah go away. Have a good 2 week. Come back and give your parents/grandparents covid and watch em die over the following 2 week.

Would that apply to NHS front line workers or teachers that had to work and maybe had a holiday prebooked from before the Covid19 starting?

I suppose it depends on the destination, Canary Islands have lower infection numbers than here.

Ok to join a mob and pull down a statue in Bristol but wrong to go to the Canary Islands

Doesn't really matter on the destination As it's not fair on the folk of the canaries...
It was folk moving from infected country's to those with no infection that started all this off.

I think this is a central point, travel started this in the first place. Tourism will spread the virus through countries like Greece and the Canaries faster than woke lefty calling BBC radio 5

Totally agree. However I wondered how the 1915 Spanish Flu was able to spread so quick around the world when there was much less travel (although I dont know the time lines - it might have been a slower process then). This virus got round the world in a matter of months.

This virus seems to thrive on things like cruise ships.

Imagine how Spanish Flu spread on ships transporting troops around the globe during WW1. There was plenty of 'travel' going on.

BTW travel didn't start this virus. The Chinese did.
