It's also interesting to note that, while Antifootball is suggesting that their better knowledge of English over French is a reason they might prefer England to France, the stats say that 85% of them don't speak English. certainly not the language attracting them then. Not that I ever thought for one moment that it was.

A mate of mine in the pub last night said if things get any worse for him here, he's going to France by ferry and coming back in a rubber dinghy speaking Swahili. I've only just stopped smiling.

    sinkov :
Tell your mate I will go 50 -50 ,on that rubber dinghy. I think I will take my holidays in Britain next year. As (in your post n 89).
A 4 star hotel, 3 meals a day , 40 quid a week, etc. Where in the world could I get a deal like that? I would just chat in Hebrew and throw in a
word in Arabic. Then if all goes well maybe the year after that?
It's better than going somewhere in the eastern Med!! 'Rule Britannia!'

High-flying drone drops free dope over Tel-Aviv. Drone scatters dozens of sealed bags containing cannabis above Rabin Square and nearby streets; police arrests two suspects for operating the drone and distributing drugs.

Still hitting Syria again the targets are Iranians serving there (missile and defence?) 2 days ago, 11 people killed in alleged Israeli strike in Syria. The attacks late on Monday targeted Syrian army positions southwest of Damascus and other sites belonging to pro-Iranian groups, including Hezbollah, in the southern province of Daraa.

An Israeli military spokesman said had declined to comment on the initial report by Syrian state media of an Israeli air strike.

My friend BT , I started work at 5 am. That's 3 pm, in Britain. At that time I sweat so much, so a shower by 8 am, and I rest Some news :

Top Haredi leader to yeshiva students: Don't get tested for virus.
UAE hotels to start offering kosher food
Health officials warn of extreme heat conditions throughout the country. Jerusalem temperatures are expected to exceed 40 degrees for the first time in more than 100 years. Good! So kids will not be throwing stones today !!
Report: Bahrain next to announce normalisation with Israel
Hamas eyes another Israel fight as Gaza teeters on brink of collapse.

Abbas urges Arabs not to normalize ties with Israel....(Poor think what can he do now?)
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday called on the Arab countries to abide by the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative and refrain from normalizing their relations with Israel.
Bahrain to allow flights between Israel and UAE to cross its airspace.
El Al to fly first cargo flight to Dubai by an Israeli carrier.=the new route will be an "import and export" link to Dubai and further east.So we do not have to fly down the Red Sea to countries like India,Thailand and Korea etc (an extra 2 hours )

Normalise relations, trade with each other, take it out of the hands of politicians, let ordinary people do what they do best, that's the way to peace, not terrorism, although the terrorists won't agree of course. The more the likes of Abbas, Hamas and useful idiots in the West stamp their feet and whine about this, the more you can be certain it's the right, possibly only, way forward.

Either way the Palestinians are phucked sinkov. Stuck between a rock and a hard place and subjected to the worse kind of Israeli oppression and asset theft.

Sinkov : Can you do anything with BT? We have done this a hundred times and still he remains one on the loony left. He somehow has been indoctrinated by J C , I mean the one in Westminster ,not the one from the Galilee. Mind you in the next 30 years I could see a change in him, there is always hope !
Years of saying No No No, to any peace agreement. Then Hamas ie Khaled Mashal (he stepped down from the leadership of Hamas) has stockpiled billions (2.5 bill)a great personal wealth.Who cares about the Palestinians when you earn for yourself 2.5 billion?? Then Mahmoud Abbas, how much is he worth? A mere $US 100 million.( Abbas building $13 m. presidential palace near Ramallah ) Have a look ,this is where your money goes.Compound spread over 6.6 acres to include two helipads; Palestinians mired in deep financial turmoil.
The deeply corrupt neo-dictatorship of Abbas and his senior PA core? It is the Palestinian leadership; Abbas and Hamas, who are their own citizens biggest threat...not Israel nor anyone else. The destruction of the citizens of Gaza and the West Bank are being done by the indifferent and irresponsible hands of their own. The unfortunate reality is that the citizens across the Territories would have remained more secure, safe and stable had Israel maintained day to day control.
