No Oz, I wasnt suggesting that for a moment, sorry if it came out like that.

The guy doesnt need pacifying, he needs eradicating. He is a poor performer.and an embarrassment to the club, why he continues to play I dont know. Genuinely think that the two U23 guys have more potential and one or t'other should have played yesterday, there were plenty of other youngsters being trialled, why not the gk?)

Seemed like a fish out of water, but then again so did most of the team (I say team, more like a collection of football players who met up for the first time in the dressing room).

Feel sorry for him and Koch, honestly. Brought to the club just before the first game of the season, no time to train with team mates and get the "Bielsa way" ingrained, which contrary to what some would suggest is essential with a relatively small squad, where "on the job" training and acclimatisation is a luxury we cant afford. Then thrown in to a side that simply had no cohesion, no solidity and no drive, yes I feel sorry for the guy and his mindset isnt going to be improved by being part of losing sides.

Totally agree. What we've done with him (both in a moral and a playing sense) is wrong - an unusual misstep for what has been a fantastic stewardship of our club over recent times.

They need to wake up and smell the coffee here - most Leeds fans want him out for both footballing and moral reasons, and certainly don't want that to be our club's captain on the field.

Watkins was eager to come as well by all accounts but we cooled our interest.

On the evidence of the last 15 minutes that I saw, and comments on the thread, we could just as well played Caprile or den Heuvel, given the captains armband to Douglas.

At least then we might not have gifted them a goal and we wouldnt bring disrespect on the captaincy.
I do NOT want Kiko in our first team so first things first, not at the minute anyway, he is very prone to a stupid mistake, however, I will also give credit where it is due, if it wasnt for him last night the Dull would have scored at least 6..

The man should never play for Leeds again, in any capacity.

Any of our GKs would have performed as well, they dont cost us £50k/week, and its unlikely they would attempt "clearances" of the sort we saw from Casilla and to add insult to injury by giving him the armband is just mind-numbingly stupid (IMHO).
