She was in that first clip.
It was just good old British seaside postcard type humour.......most of us born in the 50’s through to the 70’s “got it”.
There’s never been any accusations against Benny in all the years since he died unlike with many other performers of that era.
I think it’s safe to say your assumptions are wrong.
This hospital scene from around 2:50 in is one of my favourites

At one point The Benny Hill Show was shown in 90 or so countries making Hill a multi-millionaire due to having one of the most popular TV shows ever.
He lived in Southampton in a traditional semi-detached house and never let the fame go to his head. My Dad's side of the family who live in Hampshire knew him, my uncle who lived near Southampton was one of Hill's closest friends for well over 30 years as they both worked together in the early days, staying in close contact and meeting up occasionally until Hill's death.
Unlike so many of the virtue signalling celebrities of today typified by people such as Lineker who use social media to tell everyone how wonderful and caring they are, Hill used to anonymously give big sums away to good causes whilst maintaining a very normal lifestyle himself but never made public his philanthropy.
As for the comment about 'perving around with young girls' that's an ill informed comment. Most or nearly all of the regular women in the show such as Jenny Lee Wright were in their 30's when the show was made. Like a lot of comedy such as Fawlty Towers etc that is getting hammered by the woke brigade of today, Hill always used to tell his friends that the joke was always on him much in the way John Cleese set up the Basil Fawlty character.
Any assumptions that he was a dirty old man are based purely on people watching the show and putting 2 + 2 together making 6. He did have a relationship with Jenny Lee Wright from time to time I was told but as I say, she was in her 30's. But, as you say, that show would not have a prayer today and I'm waiting to hear it joining a long list of others cancelled out from history.
People maybe don’t realise that when Benny was at the height of his fame and top of the charts with “Ernie, the fastest milkman in the west” he was only 44 years old so a relationship with a woman in her 30’s is not at all irregular.
He looked older than his years as well and actually died at aged just 68 having not been on TV for a long time.
This thread got me to thinking about t I t and bum and stocking top type exposure on TV etc.
The 70’s and 80’s get looked down upon by today’s society yet it’s okay for a 17 year old Britney Spears to dress like a schoolgirl s l u t in “Oops I did it again” for a music video.
Same goes for huge numbers of female and male singers these days.
Black rappers on video with their “Ho’s” hanging off them..........not a problem.
Benny looking at bulging breasts or at some girl bending over or a Legs & Co dance routine which was pretty tame and fit for school kids to see at 7.30pm on a Thursday now gets called out for being ***ist etc.
It’s also okay for today’s “comedians” to say f u c k and worse every sentence yet people like Benny never uttered a single swear word.
What a perverse world we live in nowadays!
I take Baggie Singh’s point about him not finding Benny funny........humour is an individual thing and that’s fair enough.
It’s also perhaps a cultural thing and I wouldn’t necessarily expect someone brought up in an Indian household during the 70’s and 80’s to find it funny.
A respect for women thing as much as anything I suspect and with the Asian lads I worked with and knew in that era I don’t think Benny would’ve been tolerated as acceptable viewing on the family TV.
That is an understandable and perfectly acceptable position in my opinion.
Yes, comedy is subjective and every one to their own and yes he's not comedy for the 2020's. It's a funny old world we're living in though when a lot of classic comedy is being taken off iPlayer etc yet the BBC allow Frankie Boyle to interview that woman he had on his show who was making jokes about 'killing whitey' Its odd that many of the same types who want comedy from the 70's removed will laugh at stuff like this.
I wasn't very old when he was on but found him unfunny in the main and repetative.
I remember Benny Hill but have to say I didn’t find him funny at all. Everyone to their own though. But offensive ..... no way .... pretty tame stuff to be honest.
As another anecdote, I used to live in Queen’s Gate in London ..... near the Albert Hall and Kensington Gardens. Benny Hill lived close by at No 1 Queen’s Gate (a while ago) top floor flat - there is a plaque on the building saying Benny Hill lived there.
