Nuts owner , crazy decisions. We know all about them.

I hope you are right, but he's definitely an excellent coach and won't upset the apple cart like a Nigel Pearson would.

I'm more interested in how our manager does

We all are that's why a mod had to merge multiple "our manager" threads together.

Hughton gets teams promoted from the Championship, so I’m very disappointed with this decision.

Got to say, all these years of sacking managers finally allowed F***** to learn how to do it the right (if immoral) way: Sack your manager when you’ve already got his replacement lined up. Don’t do it the Notts way and sack someone and then just wait to see who applies in the following weeks.

Yep looks like the Greek already had this one in the oven.

Lamouchi got the same treatment as O'Neill when he replaced him.

I would rather do it the right, moral way.

Incidentally, when I wrote 'Lamouchi' it corrected it to 'panicky'!

Hughton got sacked from Brighton for being too boring. He doesn’t seem to get sacked for bad results, more that clubs just get sick of the sight of him. Ideal for Forest.

Hughton's a great appointment for Forest in my opinion, worse luck!

Very good record, just have to hope it's one club too far for him, like his old Ireland teammate Mick McCarthy at Ipswich. Graham Taylor was one of the greatest club managers in my lifetime but it didn't work out for him at Wolves. Also Big Sam at Newcastle.

Yes, this is a very worrying appointment. He’s been effective pretty much everywhere he’s been. Our best hope is that the owners don’t give him enough time to sort out the current mess!

Personally, I’d have reappointed David Platt but it wasn’t to be 😂
