Still not cottoned on to the concept of electing toadying, talentless @rseholes, isn’t the best way to get the quality representation for your city

It means your view of Glasgow was clearly formed at Ibrox Park, probably in the 70s or 80s. Unless you can give examples of this downright rude, threatening and often disgusting behaviour elsewhere from weegies? I’ve never seen it. I’ve never heard anyone describe themselves as Gallus either, other than that fud that used to post on here & he was certainly no weegie.

I would concur. I continually think “that’s a place where I’d like to have a pint” when in Glasgow or Edinburgh. Aberdeen’s pubs are mostly ****e, (the Prince, the CovThorn, the Glentanar possibly the exceptions).

I’ve still no desire to enter any pub anywhere on this planet currently, or for a long time into the future given the health risks.

I’m in no hurry either. I never drank in the house but lockdown has opened up a new wonderful world of boozing. No flat pints, no queues at the bar, no @rseholes asking which team I really support, no swamped bogs & I get to listen to the tunes I want, rather than some dicks piss poor jukebox picks. I’ve really enjoyed it.

I have many good memories from Ipox at that time of regularly winning and winning handsomely. Some really dreadful memories of trips to there and their pals across the city, including a terrifying ride on the subway, bus windows smashed in, stopping at Stirling hospital on the way home for treatment for a passenger who had glass in their eye from stones thrown at the bus, stolen things from the buses, a dart in a horses backside, golf balls thrown at supporters in the stands, running the route back to the bus whilst being bombarded by bottles with the police looking the other way, being bombarded by bottles inside Hampden and seeing one miserable clunt having a sh1te at the back of the footpath opposite our bus.

I've also been threatened in the city centre for wearing a suit. Apparently I was a poof looking for a kicking. And as it happens I was fairly regularly in Glasgow for my work fighting for fairness for the northeast. The in built bias I felt I was having to overcome was very real and prevalent among those in government and their agencies. The feeling prevailing was that the northeast was rich so there was no need for government monies. There was a real feeling of jealousy that Aberdeen was the centre of the oil industry, not Glasgow where it belonged. Whilst good pay was true for some, for those who weren't rich being poor in a relatively rich society only heightened the feeling of poorness and actual poorness as costs here were higher for those not on big salaries. But as you said not one single f*uck was given. As we say in these parts it was a sair fecht.

I hope I've stuck to the point and not been too distracted by your deflection, facetiousness and irrelevance.

That's a lot of bad luck.
