    What’s that slurping sound?

Ah, it’s the joy being sucked out of a very pleasing evening.

Not much entertainment watching that but a 2 goal win is not to be sniffed at. Missing a lot of quality from us today but they put in a power of effort and that was enough to see out the second half. Pity there are a few key guys out for the next one .... typically.

I’ll be looking at the Buchanie this week to find the headline “Brocher praises filthy, manky Bluemogganer. Police protection rumoured to be in place”.

Have to say after the first game against the Huns I thought we were going to struggle and be in for a terrible season.

As it’s turned out so far we have made a good start in the league.

We could be top of the league and this place would still be full of negativity.

Great squad still have a number of injuries
We should be very grateful to the board for digging deep financially to upgrade the squad and the wage bill especially during Covidi with all the financial implications on all clubs and revenue drops
With a lesser pool of player numbers injuries to-date would have hurt us big style
So we'll done to the board
Like John Hewitt said on Red TV these players need more self belief that there are good players
Let's go to the Huns and get a result against the recycled club

    We are the famous

Indeed .... I suspect RJ is the sort who, should we win a trophy, he will celebrate by stayin' up til near midnight and have an extra Farley's rusk wi' a second cup o' cocoa.
