Let’s hope for a spirited and committed performance.

It seems that our commitment has evaporated following the 1st lockdown. Irrespective of results, we just haven’t turned up in terms of performance, but more so there has been a lack of commitment and spirit. Is it the absence of supporters I wonder ?
In any event, the players owe it to us to demonstrate individual passion. I am prepared to accept a lower ability and skill, but certainly not commitment.
Let’s hope that we see it vs the Spuds.

Here’s hoping Prando! We have often pulled unexpected results against Spurs 🤞

I agree prando! For me - Gibbs to return - Bartley in for Ajayi - Livermore to be dropped - Grosicki to be on the bench if not starting. Pereira to start in the middle!

Sawyers and Phillips to be NO WHERE near the team! Both have a first touch where McDonald's board up their windows on match day!

Players need to almost die for Bilic tomorrow even if they lose! Dowling to p iss right off and if Bilic goes - he should do one too!

Very true Prando mate - I have said and posted about the same thing a couple of times.

Lack of commitment, passion, grit etc have been prevalent. I’ve seen players smiling, happily chatting with opponents etc after defeats...

Maybe, as you say, the lack of supporters play a more important role for us, due to the quality of the Albion support. 😎

The welsh international could be back for the Man Utd game so Ole might be tuning in tomorrow and quaking in his boots!

I’m expecting something resembling the sort of grit you’d get from Mr Humphries on “Are you being served” and the vicar in “Dad’s Army”.

I don’t expect much of a battle after the first 15-20 mins or so. The mentality of most of the players is very poor in my opinion. Technically we have some decent skilful players but not many winners. Bilic has had an uphill struggle with them constantly in this regard , often publically stating how they should “be brave”, “be men” , etc etc.
They are fine when all is going well, Bilic said in the week how training was very good, they looked sharp., and to be honest the first 20 on Monday were came out with vigour and purpose. Then when Fulham woke up and they began to play we just gave up.
Bilic was urging our captain to get them going… Livermore, is he captain material?, who is. Ivanovic has to be the one. Ivanovic has been unlucky not to score, he’s been the first to ball in the opponent’s box, anticipating and breaking his neck to score. Against Burnley Pope saved well and he was also first to the rebound whilst other so called forward players just stood by and watched. That’s the difference quality is not just ability, you must want to win.
Last season we only had two players with real drive and determination in my opinion. The kid O’shea and Hegazi who we sold.
