You forgot to say wasn’t it Sportings first game and a load of players and manger were missing with COVID.

Derek should really begin a cult as some seem to believe that he is the chosen one. This season it’s actually harder to finish 4th than it is to be 3rd. Hibs are like UTD about 5 seasons ago good couple players up Top but no players to actually physically impose themselves on the game. There holding midfielder was at Hamilton as a 26 year old.

It can happen and should be what we aim for, but not expected.

We’ve not really had many “big games” this season, we were unlucky not to beat Celtic in the first game against them and I expect a better performance against SevCo than we did in the first league game of the season

Hibs were in my opinion very important games to win on both occasions and set a marker, so in essence, they were relatively big games for us to win.
I agree. Beating Hibs last night made last weekend a distant memory.

I also agree about how unlucky we were not to beat an absolutely absymal Celtic team the week before.

Beating Hibs home and away when they’ve been above us in the league both times were pretty big in terms of securing third.
Of course, it would be great to push on and challenge the next spot, which is currently Celtic and if we were to take something from the game in two weeks time that would be a good step.
    "securing third"

    Aiming high

Best comparing him with someone who wins **** all despite having the 3rd biggest budget.
I was talking about out staying welcomes and his ardent followers being like a cult(could also use sturgeon as a comparison there too). There is also a similarity with fans of the fear of what's next and accepting mediocrity

I also expect a better performance and attitude from The Anchor Man than what he produced on the opening game of the season.
Quite simply.....it was truly a sh@t his breeks moment from him. It shouldn’t be entertained at Aberdeen FC now or never.

    very good.

I gave him the apt name as chucked out the anchor long ago to stop us progressing. He is the captain of a ship but has no destination. In other words he has no drive to succeed.
