Blunts In A Spot Of Bother

Which is a bloody shame because I enjoyed watching em last season and sincerely hope they can turn this around .

They'd have given Chelsea a far far harder game last season and something is very different for Wilder and his players this time .

I think they've been worked out a bit this season and playing without fans in the stadiums isn't doing em any favours either .

I think Wilder will keep em up and I believe personally they are better than Fulham and WBA , hopefully they have more than Burnley too .

January window could be pivotal for the blunts .

Av liked Chris Wilder as a person and a manager right from his Halifax days rarnd here (2002 to 2008 ) and I hope they start collecting points soon.

The second season is usually more difficult than the first both in motivation for players and other teams knowing what's coming.

The days of Billy Sharp scoring the winner have gone.

Fixture wise they've probably had as hard a start as tha could ask for. Thuv laiked City, liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in their last 5 games. Bar yesterday thuv laiked ok from what I've seen and been in wi a shart in those games. Goals appear to be a problem, they were last season also but last season their defence was superb hardly conceding any.

I like Wilder. Honest blowk and I hope he turns it around. Same wi Sean Dyche at Burnley. The Premiership needs teams like Sheffield United and Burnley in it.

Personally I think they'll both be ok.

I was only thinking I’ve not seen all their games so perhaps Wardy could make an appearance being a top Blade and give us a detailed update on their season so far.

cant believe what i'm reading what the hell is going on wishing a rival team on doing better,

me personally hope they get relegated on the lowest points ever recorded and they continue to fall thru the leagues.

10 year ago I'd have thought the same. However, tha grows up and becomes more observant and more objective to what's going on. If we played them then the rivalry is certainly still there make no mistake or exchanging banter at work etc. I ent forgot the Hume incident and how that was handled but that water has passed under the bridge since then and many things have changed. Blackwell was a sh1thouse, Wilder is the opposite.

Fact is, we ain't near their level at present and that is because they are in the Premier and have gone the right way abart it. For me tha sometimes pushes rivalry aside and giz credit where it's due.

I hope we stay up, they go down & COVID goes away.

A good gate at Oakwell for another local derby and see where the game takes us.

Up the reds down the Blades that’s my opinion.
