    One footed pro footballers

This bugs me, why don't they work on the other foot.
Not going to call the weaker foot, it's the one they never learned muscle memory it's that simple.
Why not put 10 minutes a day on it, it doesn't take long to comfortable.

It amazes me. If I was two footed at the level I played why do you ever get 1 footed pros?

I couldn’t shoot for toffee with my left foot but I’d still finish with it from short range if desperate.

I couldn’t long pass with my left to save my life, just had no power or timing with it.

However, I’d use it in tight situations though for short passes and often to surprise the opposition.

My dad was ambidextrous and two footed and could play any sport equally well with either hand or foot.

I can’t believe I got such a poor hand out of his sporting genes, he was a natural at everything and I’ve always had to work so hard to be mediocre at best!

If I’d been a pro I would’ve worked incredibly hard at everything.

I can't for the life of me fathom why players don't work on this and it's a big failure of coaching principles - when you can kick with both feet it becomes a different game altogether. Take our Traore for instance - every defender will now show him on his right after that attempt to play a short cross ball.

Ishmael Miller springs immediately to mind, if he had been two footed he would probably never have been here.
Jeff Astle scored the winner with his weaker foot in the final and so did Bomber at Oldham.
