I Thought Boris Spoke Well On The Brexit Conclusion.

I thought it was the best I’ve seen and heard from him for since March.

He spoke with clarity rather than waffle now that there was no need to “dance on the head of a pin” anymore.

For me personally, it is causing some immediate issues to get over because shipping my goods into Europe is now involving a bit more hassle whilst we work with a new system but we’ll get over it.

I always felt there would be a deal but was mentally prepared to have to pay tariffs etc but it’s a relief that the deal has come out the way it has.

I thought Ursula struck the right note as well so fair play to her.

I’m looking to expand my operation in Europe and I’m positive about the future and I think that as a nation we need to think along those lines generally.

People will soon get used to whatever the “new normal” is and I think the truth is that most people won’t notice any difference to their daily lives.

    Time to move on.

I think Boris's comments were very balanced. Its never been about turning our backs on Europe. This is more of a side by side BUT more importantly than anything We are separate. So If the EU gets worse (hard to imagine but it is possible) and does something we really don't agree with that could even threaten our national security. we can just leave them to it. Support them IF WE WANT TO. Not be dragged into something WE DON'T WANT. THAT is sovereignty.

I'll give credit where it's due, he has done what he promised, got us out of Europe and kept our fishing rights.
    Well done Boris.

    Ursula, would you Mick??

    Carole kirkwood?

Anyway back to topic, Boris did waffle on on some questions asked. Only time will tell but i fear this pandemic will make matters worse in the short term.

The pandemic will throw a spanner into everyone’s works Regis, quite right. When the dust settles it will be like everything else, part of the past.
