Leave it as it is, it will be a constant reminder to the scots when they realise their mistake!
Given that the Union flag (Jack) has the Scottish Saltire on it, should it be re-designed if Scotland leaves the UK? My view is that we should replace the blue with green for Wales...

Wee Kranky will be spitting feathers that we have an agreement (even a poor one). Bet she had everything crossed hoping it would be an exploitable no deal.
I think she will get her mandate for a second referendum but it will be another close call if it goes ahead. Personally, being a strong and emotional believer in the United Kingdom, I was pleased that the first ref went the way it did but I am sick to death of politics (all flavours) and the constant "I say this because, and only because, they said that" so much so that if they want to go then let them fck off, Wales too.
You don't come over as a strong believer in the UK at all, Smiffy. Saying that Scotland Wales can eff off 'if they want to' sounds like Little Englander talk to me.
And what about NI? Lack of a hard border with the Republic must be deeply upsetting the Proddies, who were committed to the same deal as the UK.
It strikes me that none of the constituent countries of the UK are supportive of this deal.
There is so much about this deal still to be found out. For example, Boris thinks he's pulled off a flanker by getting the EU to accept UK driving licences but that doesn't mean that individual states can't impose their own rulings.
Leavers who think the EU owes us a decent deal echo those people who think 2021 will be a lot better because Covid-19 is going away. It ain't.
A remainer then, a remainer still. El Sid
Given the state of that agreement, a new flag should be a white cross on a white background. The Scots would be mental to stay in this clown car crash a minute longer than they have to and there’ll almost certainly be a united Ireland in the next 10 years.
Reminder; the governing party’s full title is the Conservative and Unionist Party.
You do like to make a statement Sidley don't you. I made it fairly obvious that I am disillusioned with the whole political process yet you still feel the need to get your "Little Englander" Guardianista, bigotted ("A bigot is a person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles, or identities that are different from his or her own. Mostly, the person's opinions are based on prejudice. The origin of the word bigot in English dates back to at least 1598, via French.") dismissive put-down in.
Now exactly where and when did I call you a bigot? I respect your views, Smiffy, but you just don't come over as a committed unionist.
I also want the four countries to stick together, but like BFP says, can't blame the Scots if they vote to sever links with this inept government.
I always found it odd that England play in blue shorts when the English flag is red and white. As for the flag if Scotland ever became independant then yes we should remove the blue from the union flag as they're no longer in the union. However you could argue the blue to be more a Royal Blue and therefore should stay.
Anyway Scotland will not be independant anytime soon![]()
