    Back to Wilder

How about him becoming Director of Football with Alan Knill stepping up and Paul Warne becoming Knill’s assistant

Which could be that the club don't throw money into the January transfer window by paying for new players, instead go for a few loan players, then along with the players the club all ready has, see how the season pans out.

While also then planning for relegation, getting players in to mount a return to the premier next season in the summer.

Perhaps loaning us Billy Sharp in the January transfer window, to help keep us in the championship this season.
Prince Whateverhescalled has already said loans only in January apparently plus it's unlikely any Premier League player will go there to then be relegated.
The other possibility is that Wilder could walk away. He looked like a little boy lost against Palace.
