He is now about as attractive as a particularly foul-smelling version of his surname.
He has said he will never concede, and I can see him attempting to go for it again in 2024.

I can see him constantly on the news through Biden's occupancy of the Whitehouse.

What do you think it will take to get him to see sense - or is it too late?

I agree that he won't go quietly, his ego won't allow him to. He'll still crave the limelight but this has to be the end of him as a politician. As President of the World's most powerful country, he's basically incited a riot where four people have died. Fittingly, that will be what he's remembered for most. And as I said four years ago, 'The wall' (one of his biggest promises) will never happen.

I'm interested to know if he will be mandating the same 10 year jail sentence for his supporters that broke into Capitol in the same way he told the BLM chaps on twitter they would get 10 years re: the Boston Town Hall scenario a while back.

Blokes a hypocrite and definatley not welcome around for tea.

Unless he's prosecuted under the law left right and centre, it looks like the circus will move on to the next thing he will try to cling onto - the Republican Party. What happens there is difficult to call, even if the people at the top of that party desperately want him gone, they're so compromised that they might be trapped into the whole GOP as the personal vehicle of the Trump family thing. Let's see if they stand up, or one Trump or other will be on the ticket for 2024

He seems to have changed his stance now he realises he is being isolated by his former supporters in government.

yeah, probably trying to defuse their anger...he'll know that if he can stop them delivering a telling blow now, he'll be clear to resume his mischief later. I really hope they have the balls to at least try to take their party back from him.

One thing to watch next week, he's odd on to 'pardon himself' (never been done before, nobody knows if it's even possible legally)

Aye .... good old Baldo and Coddo. Still have many friends that way and still donate to Balderton Cricket Club.

Dunno about Trump but no way in my opinion should he be allowed to stand again. What I do believe is the situation in the US is looking very dangerous. I hope Biden has the energy to unite the country after the damage caused by Trump and not be a puppet to the extreme left.

Actually, I thought the ruse might be. Trumper agrees to step down, if Pence, (who then becomes President), agrees to pardon him. I do believe similar has been done before and it might well be the best outcome for the USA.

It depends on how much dirt he's got on those who might oppose such an attempt. What with all the recent resignations the rats are already distancing themselves from the Trump ship, side with him or oppose him your career as a credible politician is over if you are still associated with him and don't lower your profile. The man is now toxic.
