Would you rather have him or Milne in charge?

Because if Milne was still the chairman McInnes would have signed another contract extension by now.

The whole argument of getting rid of McInnes would be pointless if Milne was still the chairman.

    The Shuttle Bus Arena...

    Cormack Park...

Looks the same to me at the moment.

It’s not the point though (who would you prefer in charge). In my humble opinion, Cormack isn’t what we really need as a chairman. He is nothing other than another Scottish football patsy. He can’t keep his own club in order as such. Milne/Cormack are tarred with similar mentalities...we are surviving to make up the numbers.

Do you not think if Milne was still in charge he would have given McInnes a new deal by now?

There hasn’t been much options in Milnes tenure but there has been 1 or 2 who tried to take over from him.

They were both dismissed by people on here, assuring us that Milne was the better option at the time.

That’s why we are in the mess we are in today.

I'm with rico94 on this as I do think Cormack is a different animal to Milne, for a start he is a true Aberdeen fan not a not so well hidden sevco fan. I think we need to give him a chance.

Let's see if he bins McInnes in the Summer (if all the rumours are true, from that date onwards it costs a years salary to bin him whenever we do it)

Let's see if he listens to the fans and bins Westhill in favour of staying at the beach

He had a lot of good ideas about fan engagement for this season e.g. Red Shed, fan zones beside the Beach Leisure centre. Let's see what he actually does once fans can get back to games

Let's see if Milne "retires" from the Board any time soon

Let's see if he takes actions to really give us a chance to properly compete with the ugly sisters in the league and win more than one cup

I think it's unfair to judge him on what has been a weird set of circumstances over the last year so I would give him a year or so to see what changes he actually delivers before putting him in the same category as Milne.

Cormack is nothing like Milne - dinna talk shyte min.

You think Milne would be fronting up to the fans this week like Cormack is?

We hardly heard a word out of that wig wearing cuunt for 25 years - unless he was rimming the hun. You think Cormack will ever rim the hun?

We all know McInnes’ time is up. If you listened to what MSM was saying - clearly Cormack does too. The clubs on its arse cash wise so he’s decided we’re going to hang onto 4th and get Europe so we can save a considerable sum by waiting until June to get rid.

Now criticism of that judgement is fair enough, but I’m sure he’d bag McInnes now if he thought it was worth it - or would make a difference - and clearly he and the board will be paying for it when the time comes as the clubs totally skint.

Despite what folk seem to think, it’s not up to him to plough all his hard earned into the club. He’s paid for the training ground himself though so I’ll wager he’s put way more in already than Milne ever has.

He’s light years better than Milne and to suggest otherwise is just b’ollocks.

He is using up a fair bit of goodwill just now though so Tuesday will be interesting. This is the first real test of Cormack so let’s give him a chance to handle it...

Stewart Milne was a fraud as a chairman. I am yet to be convinced that Cormack isn’t similar.
The non sacking of McInnes was ridiculous. It summed us up as a club. Maybe his American bosses told him to hang fire at the moment until they deal with the Hernández debacle. We sold our top defender and never replaced him, sold our top striker (no laughing at the back) and haven’t replaced him (loan signings don’t count). I would like to know what direction our club is going? It’s certainly not up the way, that is for sure.

I will give you he put some cash into the training facilities (he certainly did not pay for it all!) which got called Cormack Park

Milne was absolutely useless...no one is going to really debate that.

My point about Cormack is there to see. He has no proper ambition to make Aberdeen nothing more than just a club in Scotland that makes up the numbers. He is certainly no Chris Anderson or Dick Donald.
You don’t sell two of your biggest assets and replace them with nothing then expect people to take you seriously. His famous bluster of us playing exciting attacking football has truly found him out.

    Nice teeth though.
