Thread: By Christ it's bloody cold.

  1. #1

Thumbs up By Christ it's bloody cold.

Don't know about you lot, but it's bloody cold here in Bolton.

The wind has a chill factor of minus 9, the stream at the back of our garden has frozen over and the seagulls have come inland.

    Global warming my arse!

I can remember early in this century, one of the Eco-loon scientists saying that children now being born would never know what snow was, because of global warming. But governments listen to these people, they can't get enough of them.

BT just get your wife to make a large pan of broth and Dumplings nothing better than that on a cold day. You could also consider having a pot of rum with a little coffee in it.

Funny you should say that V_C, beef stew and dumplings are designated for tea and I'm just having a wee dram of whiskey following a rather brisk walk on the moors.

Hope you enjoy it BT. We are having the same, but no alcohol for me, medical reasons . You may find you need more whiskey when you get back from the moors just to warm you up of course.

"UK weather: Hay fever warning as warming temperatures could set off 'pollen bomb'. Hay fever sufferers have been warned a switch from extreme cold weather to warmer temperatures this week could cause a "mini pollen bomb".

Never mind this brass monkey weather freezing your bollox off BT, it's Hay Fever you have to worry about. Feckin global warming eh, whatever next, I love it.
