has today published details in relation to a breach of its Anti-Doping Regulations by a 16-year-old footballer that occurred while they were a 15-year-old.

That’s not the way nowadays Brin, the twitter sphere can’t function on self blame.
Anyway, one for the pedants:-
“a 16-year-old footballer that occurred while they were a 15-year-old”
Or should that be
“a 16-year-old footballer that occurred when they were a 15-year-old?”
When instead of while
Ive not read the full FA report but looks like family are implicated. The lad was living away from home in digs and got the growth hormone on his trips home.
Shows the pressure some families are under for their kids to make it in football.
Would it be a better deterrent if he was named and the club he plays for also named?
