I did suggest Glass and McLeish was a possibility the other day.

Depends I suppose on whether McLeish has managed to cut the boozing a bit.

we need to bring in the management team now and give Lennon the remainder of the season to figure out what he wants to do during the close season and for the start of next season.
Will cost us some money to get rid of our resident hun but Lennon will be free, and can do a job for us, we will give him the gig for a two year contract maximum and then after 18 months be able to tell if he deserves an extension or not.
Neil Lennon will be our next manager.

If Milne is still calling shots at Aberdeen then you could well be right that Lennon will be our next manager. The Americans want Klinsmann but they are only the money men and not the people that hang around our boardroom on match days.
We know if Lennon gets the job then Milne is still the real boss (he was definitely wanting him when McInnes was considering going to Ibrox). If Klinsmann gets the job then we know the Americans have thrown their weight but that will probably mean a total buyout of the shares of Milne. As far as we can gather no one else is being considered.

Goodwin is a no too,why not look outside Scottish football and show some ambition instead of the usual boring suspects?
It’s a good suggestion but the biggest problem with that is foreign managers very rarely , if ever , manage to be successful in Scottish football .

I can’t think of any really in the past 20 years but I can think of plenty examples that were a disaster.
The boy Stendl at Hearts most recently, the Italian boy at Killie after Clarke left lasted about 5 minutes, the ex hearts boy who went to Pikeys I canna mine his name noo. The Portuguese boy at huns .

The biggest issue trying to attract a manager from down south or abroad is the standard of our league is so poor and it’s a 2 horse race every season In the league now and that’s ingrained into the fabric of the game here now. We need someone to break that mentality but I’ve no idea where or if we can find that individual or indeed if the board have the ambition to do that , I highly doubt it.

Of course you have to find someone who's keen to come and live in Scotland.

I suggested the Ferencvaros manager a couple of months ago.
But then he would have to want to give up Budapest for Aberdeen.
    Andrassy Avenue or Union Street?

Hmmm, well Andrassy is fairly lacking in bookies, that's for sure.

Secondly, and I suspect this to be the major problem in the past, Scottish players.
Pubs, Bookies (back to bookies again) capering about in training (I've made that one up but lets change it to "attitude")

The minute they try to impose a strict regime then they lose the dressing room.

Get a German, let him take some German youth with him, change the culture, watch the results.

Kjetil Knutsen took a bunch of part timers from the Arctic Circle, including players who were about to jack it in, totally turned their attitudes round, took on and beat by a country mile (18 points clear) the countries far bigger clubs (relatively speaking) playing the kind of free scoring, all out attack fitba we would cut our arms off for. They banged in 2 at the San Siro before being narrowly edged out by AC.

He bides in Bergen and could even commute, seeing as how we let the present encumbrance...sorry incumbent, do just that.

But no let's go for Jim Goodwin.

If McInnes is still in charge next season I’ll be giving up watching the games. I’ve suffered enough.

I actually don’t know who we should get to replace him but at this stage id actually take anyone rather than him.

I do think you’re right in saying it’ll be someone who is currently out of work as we’ll not be paying compensation in the current climate alongside paying mcinnes off.

Di Canio is getting my vote ahead of Lennon. Head case, plays good football, and would never be a dull moment.

If we could get one to come over, I wouldn't say no.

Not all Germans are Jurgen Klopp esque , the boy Stendel or forever his name was at Hearts is more likely the standard of manager we will attract and he got Hearts relegated.
