Ultimately as Markle and ginger pubes have stated they are cut off financially. So from a profile point of view it is in their best interests to keep this stuff in the news as long as possible. Elite I think most countries even here in some aspects can be accused of doing a bad job with coronavirus but its a bit like the hindsight laddo ( at least I think it was him) mentions is used on here in regards to football managers. Kind of a mute point. I will say that in regards to vaccinations the UK is leading the world with the exception of Israel and politics aside they should be strongly praised for that.

I don't know if you missed it, but more than once I have praised them for the efficiency of the vaccination programme. I also praised them for the speed with which the Nightingale hospitals were built, and the generous furlough package they have offered. But then we come to the list of failures, and unfortunately it's much longer than the list of positives. Regarding your 'hindsight' argument, I would ask why other countries similar to us seem to have much better hindsight (look at the death numbers) than us?

I would suggest that it's because they had far more foresight.

God’s made up to scare children and as for Her Maj, she took away the protection for her grandson, the only person in her weird family to put his life on the line fighting Islamist terrorists. While at the same time protecting her noncey son.

There are factors at play here the UK cannot control. The population density is a massive factor. So is the ethnic make up like it or not. Perfect the UK are most certainly not. Doing their best they absolutely are. Screwed up at times they absolutely have. I did miss that I don't read all the posts by a long shot. I do not know the stats but is the % of deaths in the UK much different to other countires over number of cases?
