Was terrible last season other than a wee purple patch of 8 games or so. Positionally he's poor. He can't head the ball, and his delivery is tragic. Left back should be an area we're prioritising this summer.
Can't agree with this. He's a very decent left back. Could he improve? Yes of course. But I think, from the start of the season he has.

Im not so sure Jamie is as bad as some are making out! He is never gonna be a Malpas or Robertson, but he may be here for a fair few seasons yet, and is one who i think has handled the step up very well, and i hope can improve in a team with the right players around him.

What I love about this board is the huge variation in opinions!
Personally, I think Robson has been very good this season. Was excellent again on Saturday there. Of course he can improve going forward but he is definitely good enough for this level

Think Jamie has had not to bad a season has played well at times and not so good at other times but do think at times he's been left on his own on left facing attacks but looks more settled when Sporle in team on left

I think Jamie has been good this season in the main. He can be a bit hot and cold sometimes but I like him and he can bring some good attacking options. I think defensively he has improved a bit also.

Definite potential in the Sporle partnership down the left.

    ...as is your's.

The boy purports to be an Arab then slaughters an up-and-coming home-bred player with160 appearances.
Thankfully the weight of opinion is very much against the poster.
Unless you think Jamie Robson is ****ing sh!te as well...?

Sorry for not gushing over the boy after a half decent performance on Saturday but I've spent three years watching him with little improvement. He gets out battled physically, his positional sense (especially at set pieces) is poor as shown in the two goals lately where he lost his man at corner. He maruads up the line then very rarely puts in a cross of any real quality. A boy who's had 160 appearances for the club should at least be able to do these things and significantly improve on them year after year. He just goes through the motions for me. We could do a lot better than Robson.
