Always one of the most enjoyable periods as a Notts fan, although I suspect we won't have as long as usual to play the guessing game for the next manager. Hopefully that's the case.

Certainly will change the dynamic on NCM once a new man is in place.

I know Flitcroft is DOF at Port Vale, but he may be tempted by a managers job again.
Notts Twitter is much more left wing than here (good) but was much more pro Ardley(bad).

Yep. It feels like a slightly younger crowd on twitter so I think they have less experience of Notts in the higher echelons of the football league. I think the older you are and the longer you have watched Notts the more non-league football absolutely stinks.

A 45% win rate might be amazing at one club but awful at another, depending on the clubs' respective expectations. Or am I missing something?

The only obvious criteria I can think of is someone who's happy to work under their data-driven approach to scouting and signing players. Not every manager would be happy being told which players they should look at by an analyst who has never played the game or managed a club. So we can probably rule out all those headstrong types who need things to be done their way, which ironically is the type of manager who seems to do well at Notts.

Looking forward to seeing who they've got lined up.
Obviously it can't be 100% just raw data, they need to be analysing it carefully to make sure they're comparing, as close as possible, apples to apples instead of iguanas.

But data could be really helpful. If they identify a manager who is overperforming with their budgets/teams and/or has had a run of fabulously bad luck of late, they might be able to identify someone with massive potential who would nevertheless be willing to manage a team in the bananarama league.

The Reedtz brothers statement ended with, "We are not inviting applications for the manager's position."

It's obvious - they're going to do the job themselves.

Must say, without paying compo to someone I’m slightly concerned at the apparent lack of possibilities...this is a big moment for the owners.

    Doyle? Nicky Butt? FFS.
