Reeves for the most part has been pretty awful and I doubt he will ever play in the EFL again. Sam and Rodrigues have shown flashes but that is all. All of the loan players have proven why their parent clubs don't play them perhaps with the exception of Wolfe. Barnett looks like a crock defensively and anyone who has angel wings on the back of their neck I will never take seriously. Miller looks bang average. I could go on but at least 50% of this squad needs to be shed at the end of the season probably more like 75%.
It's a poor situation that Ardley has left us in. Very poor indeed.
And 6th in the league.
You think Wolfe has impressed more than Knowles?
Wolfe hasn't impressed because he has not really had an opportunity to. Ardley gave Knowles a run in the side and would you say he impressed when given the opportunity? I wouldn't. He's certainly up there as the best of the loan players though. We may as well give the new fella a go now. Surely he is fit enough to make the bench and run around for 45 minutes?
Yes I think Knowles overall has impressed, performed better than I imagined when we first signed him.
Hope Knight is on the bench.
I think in Knowles Greg Abbott has certainly landed us with a decent player on loan but he has a lot of developing to do yet. He knows where the goal is though. Wolfe has been unlucky not to get more of a chance and his latest injury must be very frustrating for him. Miller has shown decent moments when used in an attacking role, as has Barnett.
In Knight we have a permanent signing that we've actually paid (a little) money for. I totally understand that they want him to come into the side match fit or as close as possible to it. After all, his reputation is built on pace and running so an unfit Knight may not be capable of doing himself justice.
