Well yes they will say that I think they were right to remove Ardley we were going nowhere with him.

The sacking isnt the issue for me it is who you bring in at this stage we dont know if its good or bad.

Being honest I wouldnt have gone down this route but its not me who faces the flack if it goes wrong.

There's a physicality to this league that we're just completely unequipped for - athleticism is key, and we just don't have it without a Mitch Rose-type in the middle of the park.

I'm pleased that the new signing comes from Crewe, as he'll have a good footballing pedigree, but his first team experience is probably on a par with Wolfe's - and we know how that's turned out.

The problem with NLN/S signings is that it's much too late for this season - we've seen the problem with Knight and his "lack" of fitness. I notice Stockport signed a couple of players on loan from Chorley last month, though, and they've been playing.

If you made a list of the decent midfielders we've faced this season, the ones that stood out for me were the workhorses who had legs in the centre of the park - Green for Halifax was one. I also thought Edser was decent for Aldershot last night.

Without some muscle and pace in the side, we're going nowhere - not upwards, anyway.

Whats the odds of OBrien being dropped to make way for the new guy, when all know it should be Reeves...

I agree. At least O’Brien was trying to get forward and make things happen. I actually think he’s been our best midfielder in recent weeks. Sadly, Reeves has been poor the last few matches.

Yes, I thought O'Brien was the pick of the midfielders on Tuesday, although that's not saying much.

I still can't get over Reeves' pointing and gesticulating as if he was the proven midfield maestro, rather than the crab that he is who despite preferring to make 10 yard passes still misplaces far too many of them. How many times did he point to suggest a (heaven forbid) pass backwards as the best option?

I think we are getting things very wrong and should be looking to sign National league and NL North/South players who have played mens footy.

Griffiths might be a good player but it is sad we are going to Crewe Harrogate Stags and Salford to loan players when we could/should use our own.
Sign too many NL /North or South players and thats what you end up being ‘an average Non-league club’. IMO that most of our players are better than that, they just need the right leadership and guidance.

Why should our owners not have had an "easy ride" so far?

I know, I read statements like that and shake my head in disbelief.

It suggests that they’ll soon be under the spotlight and ran out of town.
