Well at least Derby keep losing......but so do we. Should have had all 3 points today never mind 1. The efforts from Ladapo, Smith and Ogbene were woeful (will give Chieo the benefit of the doubt after being out for most of the season). That will be one of the easier afternoons that Blackman will have as a goalkeeper but he shouldn't have been on the pitch in the first place, due to the terrible refereeing decision in the 2nd minute. We've just not been clinical enough in front of goal on too many occasions this season. Barnsley defended well and good luck to them in the play-offs, but we should have buried those chances in the 2nd half.

Went into the match not expecting owt, immediately outraged by the goal - absolute jaw dropping decision. And then hopes raised with Derby screwing up and us pushing hard and very much deserving at least one point if not all. But gutted again at the finishing.
But we can trace this back to earlier in the season - game upon game, good performances but missed chances and narrow victories. Many of us said it then that this is the difference at this level and for all his confidence, and occasional blinding goal, Freddie is clearly a league 1 player. Smith never been prolific but has other qualities that earns him a place at this level but needs incisive midfielders coming up behind him, or a front partner to play off. Didn't expect Oggie to score. Before his great chance, he was 1 on 1 with their keeper not knowing he was offside, did his best but hit what at best could be described as a pass back. Just not good enough, but then again that isn't his game.
If we do go down and keep hold of them both, Smith and Freddie after this year of working with each other could be a hell of a force, and behind them are a team not quite good enough for the Championship, but aren't far off.
At least we created chances and against a team that have bowled over many good teams, we pretty much outplayed them in all areas but finishing. Another reason to be sickened!
But miraculously, Derby conspired to lose again. One of those chances buried and we'd be only one win from overtaking them with 2 in hand. So close but so ****ed up

More on top we've been in a game this season. Still in our hands. A couple of changes for away at Brentford then we'll give it our best shot. Harding for Wood & Barlaser for S McDonald. Ogbene could be our staying up player, looks back to his best. Referees are trying to relegate us but we are hanging in there. UTM
Hope Viking is fit to play midweek. I expect there are various protocols and hoops to be jumped through for him to be allowed to play.
Not sure what is more corrupt and contemptable this week, the european super league or the performance of the last two set of tossers, sorry, officials.
I dunno how you can get much more elbow in the face than that to be quite honest.
Think to be fair to Morris he didn't think it was gonna be allowed but some short arsed jumped up tw at official thinks its all ok. I feckin despair not only this sort of shyte we have had to put up with all season.

We played well and apart from scoring ....
Ta for the best wishes Animal. Good idea to post and leg it as we're bloody sore! Good luck in the play offs and not being 'orrible but blimey you're going to need it playing like that. Great defence when organising against balls into the area, but the fact that even us could play balls through and create great chances that only we could squander seems to suggest that it will be found out in the play offs. But you're right in what you said yesterday, Barnsley seem to do better against the tippy tappies. Good luck pal
We played well and missed chances cost us . Goal should have been disallowed and maybe Barnsley player sent off . Got to keep the faith.
