I would be ok if we got him but somehow don't feel we will go all out for him. Probably go through the motions of an interview then plumb for the cheapest option.

I’ll be surprised if we appoint Lampard as I cannot see the Albion board giving him enough either in salary or transfer funds.

Tend to agree with previous comments. Would love him to be appointed but we all know Albion!

Joey Barton FFS .... can’t see Lampard going for it ..... Could see Terry in the running but will be a disaster waiting to happen ... for me it’s either Wilder or McInnes ...

I would be happy with Wilder, Lampard, Ismael and Wagner, but I don't think we will get any of them.

Welcome back to the Hawthorns Michael Appleton.🙄

I'm not sure why Lampard would distance himself from the Palace job, but be open to coming to us. Seems strange.

I'm not against Lampard, but Tuchel going into Chelsea has shown what can be achieved. He had a good squad of players there and didn't seem to get a tune out of them. Having said that, he's still young and he's probably learned lessons. I think there are safer options out there, I'd probably prefer Wilder than him.
