Scanning through the non league website, Sonny Carey of Kings Lynn has signed for Blackpool for a big fee. What did shock me is that he had a trial at United. Countless cracking players have slipped through Uniteds hands over the years, including Peter Beardsley.
What other players are there playing in the eastern counties league, or United counties league, etc, that dont get picked up, even though they come and play in uniteds back yard?
And then sign players of much inferior quality.
Not working is it.

Having a successful goal scorer at the club is so rare, the club went a bit bonkers by naming a stand after him. Mullin is probably still considering offers from the likes of Shrewsbury and Milton Keynes.
Talking of the stand, one of the yankee owners has invested a million quid in infrastructure at the ground, and training ground, which is clare college.
The Clare college ground is stunning. What this may mean is that the main stand side of the ground may get decent toilets, and then maybe not.
Just think what a million quid could do for the team, as recent signings will get them relegated.
Another strand is that the proposed new ground wont happen, in the next fifty years anyway. With a million quid, they could have signed an Aldershot player. My hands are shaking, i cant sleep, im having flashbacks of United winning games, all symptoms of enduring shock to the system.
At getting promoted. One of the bizarre and exotic surprises of modern football. Looking forward to it all falling apart.
Joe Pigott is being hunted by Bristol City, United let him go on a free. Well done Ben Strang. Yet another foul up.
Mullins is going it's been confirmed and I think he's the third not to resign,I hope that Cambridge are acting on strengthening the squad otherwise it will be a short visit to league one,Mullins will be missed
