Of course. We want all and any Notts managers to be successful that's a given.

This is Notts anyway, it'll either go tits up or we'll run away with the league. Either way we're going to see some exciting games I believe. People only get mad on here with each other alot of the time only because the real frustration is still being stuck in this toilet division and every year becoming more forgotten. I don't actually think everyone dislikes each other that much, we just are very angry about being down here and that won't go until we get up.

Absolutely agree, CF. Do you remember when we used to moan like f##k about not being able to get promo from League2/Div 4? Sometimes you don't know how lucky you are.

Ha ha yeah true mate, I think the trouble with Notts over some other clubs down here is that we've all seen us be good, whether under Sirrel, Warnock, Allardyce or Munto, there are times and seasons under those managers/regimes that we've been really good and mixed it alot higher up the leagues. We really should be much higher up and like I say until we look like we're getting there then there's going to be alot of anger on here and at the ground.

All progress on social attitudes is incremental and nothing happens overnight. Taking the knee is only a gesture but if it happens every week it may help to make some improvement even if it’s only a little step at a time.

If Notts or any other team at Meadow Lane feel thy should do this season, then I think they should be supported.

Unfortunately I don't think racism will never be eradicated, not just in sport, but everywhere.. It is in built through years of imperialism and slavery. I think racists are in the minority. It's just whether the minority is a big minority, or a small minority.

There will always be racists using social media and there will always be trolls on social media (who may not even be racist but just want to stir things up).

Unfortunately, the more 'taking the knee' is hammered home, the more it will actually cause the adverse reaction.

I was all in favour of it to begin with, but it's clear that it's not working.

How about getting rid of a Prime Minister who has been quoted saying racist things for a start? That might send a message out ffs.

There will always be anger or hatred towards other races, religions, ***uality’s, or anything different to what ‘we’ perceive as normal until we face up to our own inner hatred. Much of what is projected outwards towards others can tell you a lot of what you truly think of yourself.

Or so the theory goes, if everyone worked on themselves instead of hating others we would greadually move towards a more accepting society....we are moving in that direction, albeit slowly.

Do you think the things Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson has said in the past are helpful to the cause of stopping racism?

and you are the one who argued that taking a knee was ineffective but now claim that removing a proven racist as head of government is not a positive step. I'm beginning to think you believe any steps to ending racism are pointless.
