I paid £500 for mine as I wanted a seat (my old seat which I gave up a few years ago) beside my pals and wasn't able to purchase it until after the loyalty/early bird period. As far as I know there was no one in that seat the last few seasons as I used to sit there when I paid at the gate, so no idea why it was held back until after the early bird. F*cking scandalous tbh mate. £26.31 per game. If it wasn't for the fact the same season ticket will cost me £340 next season, I wouldn't have bothered.

Whilst I agree that £30 is over the top (£25 may have been more sensible IMO), I don’t agree with the adage that if you make it £15 then you’ll get x’000s more attending as it’s cheaper and therefore the Club will make more money. That just doesn’t happen- we have a core support who turn up regardless and then another few thousand on top who will attend the occasional game regardless of cost. Making it ultra cheap does not guarantee big crowds.

I bought the tickets for ADS attending the Hearts game and it was £28 for the top tier of the ET.What was the price of a ticket for the lower tiers?.

This is the kinda thing we do as fans of the club and there is no doubt we are being exploited. My Prices were due to go up last year to coincide with the Olympics.I only put up my prices once every 4 years to keep my customers happy.
In the midst of the pandemic i decided putting up prices was not appropriate and now with furlough due to end i have still held off with an increase, neither me or any of the boys who work with me have had a pay rise in over 5 years.
My family and many others backed United to the hilt during the pandemic for F ALL in return,i reckon i paid over £300 alone to the walkers of the three clubs The Bride tried to shaft.I think due to the utter stupidity of the current regime we will have the lowest Derby crowd in years and if the Dees decide to boycott it i cannie really blame them to be fair.
There is no FN way i'm paying £30 to sit/stand in Dens,FACT.

Just to add,i honest to god havnie looked at any Dee forum for months but if they do decide to boycott then there will be serious repercussions for both club's this season because we will return the favour when we go to Dens and so on.I agree with James BTW that selling thousands of tickets too cheap does you no favours but a price of £25 would be fair and may well have enticed a few thousand more to attend a game live on SKY and scheduled for Sunday dinnertime.
I can only think that Tony is convinced he has his finger on the pulse and knows that the Dee support are certain they are by far the better team this season and would be willing to pay any price to witness their first Derby win at Tannadice in over 17 years.

I’ve no had a look on any of their forums for a while either G but would assume plenty have said f uck that.

If FT thinks they’ll sell oot he’s very much mistaken at that price

If I can get a ticket (ambulent are very limited), I'll be going to Dens regardless. I guess there will be an upper limit on the price I'm prepared to pay but boycott on principle for the sake of a few quid? No, not me. FWIW, I completely understand if folk can't/ don't want to go, a very personal decision with lots of factors at play.

I do agree charging £30 a ticket for any match being shown live is bonkers and runs the risk of fans deciding against attending, but I’ll not be staying away. Love the atmosphere and the edginess the derby installs, and for me the absolute joy a goal against the funsters brings is unmatched bar being in a cup final.

I would have hoped though the clubs would have remembered how supporters backed their clubs throughout the pandemic and shown just a wee bit love by not fleecing them at every opportunity, sadly it’s the hope that kills ya ☹️

Yeah it is going to be £2 dearer think lower was £26 so £4 dearer it is a shame for anyone who can't afford the £2-£4.The others who just say they are not going to pay an extra £2-£4 to support utd is up to them bet half of them are the guys who moan most about utd not making more signings or paying for better class of player or selling player to keep afloat.Have to take hat of to guys fromout of town who spend money getting to the games so they can support their team.
