Ladapo was poor (as usual), and Smith wasn't much better. I would have had Grigg on from the start. I think with a few games behind him he'll prove to be our best striker. On to Lincoln now who found their goal scoring boots today, but didn't we find ours just a few days ago? Just one of those days today that every team has to endure from time to time. The trick is to not let it become the norm ......
It’s all about opinions Nez but Wiles in my opinion has his worse game

Yes you're right gm_gm but I thought Wiles was trying to do things whenever he had the ball except on two occasions when he tried a bit of "show boating". What I do like about Wiles is that he's a positive player who's usually looking to push us forward. And in any case, he's still a young local lad who's still learning his trade.

3 at the back does not work not when it is unbalanced as it is. Harding should be on the right side of a defensive 3 if we are going to have one. Their quick forrud caught him out time and time again on his weaker foot leading to 2 goals for them. If we are to play 3 at the back we need a proper left sided CB unfortunately we let that player go ie Tilt. Wood was too slow for their quick forwards and they exploited it. Icky who played in his normal position seemed slow and didn't dominate enough so he was extra crap at least Wood and Harding had some sort of excuse.

The other issue is Ogbene and Sadlier are not wing backs ie they cant help cover in defence because they dont have the defensive skills. If you are having proper wing backs you cannot play these 2 in that role.

So what should Warne do? Seems to me like 3 5 2 aint gonna work with the unbalanced defence we have so we need to revert back to 4 4 2 and put round pegs in round holes ie Harding at right back Icky and Wood/ AN other in the middle if opposition has speedy forwards and Mattock (pains me to say it but who else is a natural left back?)
or Bola at left back. At least that is their proper position.

Another point Sadlier is crap on the left side. He was much better on the right the other day and I believe he is right footed.

Its the old story with Warne play players in their correct positions and you will strengthen the team/ play them in the wrong position and you will weaken it.

Thought Wiles was no worse than any one else and seemed the only player not to have his head down when we went 2 behind.

Seems the way to undo us is to pop balls over the top and use pace - not the first time this has been deployed to unravel us

Nothing really new in this Saw. Most championship clubs play season used this tactic and most had players to make it work. Less so in this division but credit to the Fleetwood manager. He had the players to do it and pulled it off perfectly

    Man of the match?

For me it was the Fleetwood manager, he did a real job on us.

Get players to run at our defenders exposing their weaknesses

Give some bite in midfield knowing that we play “ nice”

Don’t jump into tackles with our forwards because they will give away the ball anyway and other than Smith make no attempt to tackle back

He must have rubbed his hands in glee seeing Barlaser on the bench, and even more so when Rathbone got took off.

Two very dubious goals that should have been flagged offside but that’s clutching at the straws of excuses.

We were second best for much of the match.

Surprising though that the Fleetwood manager didn’t take a player off without a sub and play with 10 men.

Or do only nice managers do that?

He/they did their scouting well and played it to great effect - weaknesses of ours exploited ruthlessly

Warney let his defenders down today, they needed help and didn’t get it

Wiles did ok apart from switching off again which needs sorting but definitely wasn’t motm
Rathbone being subbed is a ****ing mystery to me

    What formation was it?
Where we certain players suppose to have been playing?

Fleetwood did their homework and got it spot on so well done to them

Seems Warney forgot to do a plan B

Didn’t use scanners today and the bloke behind the bar till was very good at serving (yes that’s the positive )

Oh and I just don’t like Sadlier
