Love the size and feel of Carvoeiro. It's got a lovely atmosphere and a real gem of a place. But boy are those short sharp hills a good workout for the lower half.

Interesting to look back on how dangerous we are from set pieces in those highlights. Great chances from them for Brindley (how did he miss that!?!), Lacey and Wootton.
Add that to goals from set pieces against Barnet and Aldershot, plus zero set piece goals conceded so far, and you’d say the set piece man looks to be having an impact…

Been there, with the beach in the little cove and the roads either side overlooking it, leading down to the cobbled streets in the centre. I just happened to be staying at a rented house way up one of those hills you describe leading north away from the beach. Murder to climb, especially if you happen to be carrying a small crate of ales! I had to drink two to make it up there!

That's the one lol. We've got a fabulous apartment high up on a hill but still only a 10 min walk to the town's small beach.
A small crate of ales or a overtired toddler , both murder after a day of fun in the sun. My glutes are currently talking to me but the vinho verde helps.
