    I agree it’s not and never was and probably never will be a great test of golf , personally at my age I’m finding it fairer for me to play than holes like the 7th 10th 11th, 13th and 18th at downfield which I find very difficult pars to reach as I’m getting older ,

    Just checked strathmore is 113 of the yellows and whites , I play from the yellows nowadays and downfield 129 of yellows 133 of whites
