Give Bobby and Disco a go

They know the club , they know the league .

We have the talent to climb to safety all it needs is some common sense , basic man management skills and some good old fashioned passion from the technical area .

Absolutely impossible to do any worse than the last incumbent .

Wor abart Chris Wilder Animal? I still think he's a very good manager, unlike some of my fellow BLADES who used to sing he's one of our own, must only be one of our own when we were doing well to some. UTB

Never going to happen Rod .

Chris wants control of the recruitment which he's never going to get here unfortunately .

Yes he does want to be the one in control, which i don't blame him or any manager for wanting to be in control for that matter but as you say highly unlikely he'd be in charge at Oakwell. Do you think it'll probably another foreign boss, unknown to the vast majority of your fans Mate? UTB

Hey up Rod. Yeah Im sure we'd all jump at the chance of an experienced manager like Wilder, whos been there and seen it and done it etc. Im still surprised at how it ended by the way with him and your club, but you know a lot more about him than I/we do lol.

As Animal points out though our owners wouldn't dare go for a man like Wilder or Colin W*ker or McCarthy etc, and by that I mean an experienced pro who is really good at saving a season. I don't think we need a genius though as a replacement, just some sensible changes here and there and we should be out of the relegation area.

I'm not so sure Rod to be honest .

The owners are now public enemy number one .

They know it all too well .

There could be a change of strategy in the offering .

I'm speculating here of course but none the less they need us onside .

11k ST holders can easily diminish to 3 or 4k at this club Rod .

They'd be well advised to recruit a HC we can identify with who has some passion and keeps us in the championship .

The squad ain't the problem , more than good enough .

I'd have Wilder here tomorrow Rod if it was my decision .

It certainly is strange what's happening at Oakwell,i tell you what mate i'd have our Chris back with us any day,not that i'm saying i want Jokanovic out,but summat's got to change with us and quickly.I mean once we concede a goal the team goes to Bobbar very quickly just like last Sunday at Oakwell,i mean at 3-0 up it should've been very easy for us and i don't mean that as being disrespectful to Barnsley but as you saw as soon as your lads scored we were hanging on and just kickin the ball anywhere,i know if we'd played like that when i was at School(i know it was a very very long time ago ) we would have had the cane or summat equally as painful, perhaps Jokanovic should start caning the players. Isn't it frustrating following clubs in South Yorkshire? Reminds me of summat mi dear departed owd Dad used to say abart neing a BLADE, a married BLADE is never short of having summat to moan abart. If Schopp has left Rod then I expect his successor to be another unknown quantity from the bowels of European football. Word in football spreads quickly behind the scenes. The PMG's reputation most likely precedes them which means a manager with any credibility from the UK probably won't touch us with a bargepole.

Bobby and Disco are probably what Patrick Cryne would've chosen. However, this consortium think differently. I think it'd make practical sense on a caretaker basis to have Bobby and Disco until further notice.

Yeah thats also what I meant by getting somebody to try and save our season Pass, on a short term basis to begin with of course. Then maybe re-look at the situation in the summer after hopefully keeping us up, and see if he wants to make it a longer term deal.

Id much rather see Bobby and Martin get the chance ahead of another unknown foreigner, because I think that well has almost run dry now and what have we got to lose ehh in giving them a go ?.
