As far as Gary Ballance is concerned well I think he's finished personally .

If Yorkshire sack him absolutely nobody else will offer him a contract .

Tetley, Yorkshire tea and Emerald rubbing their hands together with the publicity. I'm not condoning what's gone off but looking at Ballances statement it's sad that a bit of banter between friends/team mates has resulted in such strong allegations. Of course action has to be taken but these companies withdrawing sponsorship have had far more publicity through this unfortunate incident than they would have if nothing happened.

It’s disappointing, and embarrassing. Not how we portray our welcome ,to people from outside.
However.
Our county has welcomed a great deal of immigrants, non white and white, Possibly more than most ( Lancashire except). but there are going to bad fish in a pond…..

22 people died in a bomb attack at a concert in Manchester. Have the Muslim people been punished for this? Have the Asian community who rent bombers been punished?

I can’t stand cricket, or Racism……. Why should the fans of cricket in Yorkshire be punished for the actions ( or inaction) of their inept leaders?

I totally agree Jules and well said. Why don't they just demolish Headingley stadium while they're at it? That'd cap it off. Everybody's sh1t scared of saying owt. This snowflake society we live in means that folk are easily prepared to condone these ridiculous codifications without realising the impact it has further down the line. The punishment for this unfortunate incident should be that of dealing directly with the hierarchy at YCCC.

Why relegation? Why remove international test matches? What exactly is this going to achieve? There's better ways of setting examples without all this unnecessary bollox. Fecking words fail me

I'm afraid with respect one or two are missing the issue here .

Yorkshire admitted they had failings but refused to do anything about it .

So the ECB have had to step in and do it for them .

So instead of putting their own house in order in a manner which would have kept sponsors on board they have basically fuqed the situation right up .

This isn't going to end well at all for Yorkshire .

I wouldn't be surprised to see the club banned from all competition with what is about to come out on November 16th .
