Good day on saturday , the best thing is we delivered on a big occasion in front of a big crowd , an essential thing going forward if we are to gain promotion, as ther will be more big days and big games

But we were not tested on saturday, it just ran our way, solihull should have levelled around 80 mins through rooney, who according to stallard missed a sitter, and did not have his striker boots on
The question then is would notts have crumbled under the pressure late on, like they have on a number of other occasions, future matches will answer this question ??

The side is still not as good as Ardley,s side before the covid curtialed the season , but shows promise.

Bottom line, Notts won fair and square and we're easily the better team in every department
Their opportunities were half chances at best.

Reducing the opposition to half chances is The best you can hope for in a 90 minute game
We weren't tested due to our managers tactics and our teams overall quality
Solihull had 7 clean sheets in their last 8 games, not an easy team to break down
It's not rose tinted glasses at all
And find it hard to believe that anyone who watches Notts would agree
It's called enjoying the moment and having a positive outlook, which for a Notts fan, has been hard to do for the past 30 years

It's all about opinions of course, but I was referring to all of the last 3 games. I've watched hundreds of notts games, and , in my humble opinion, the style of play which has clearly been coached if not drummed in to the players is coming to fruition. I've not seen such impressive intent for many, many years.
It does not and will not always come off, but they're trying a very modern and difficult approach for which I will stand up and applaud.
It's a very hard league to get out of, and I would love a real goal poacher, but we are definitely in with a shout.
What more can we ask for?

I think that's bang out of order KK!!!! You can't just single out Davy, there are half a dozen regulars on NCM who have a long history of seeking the negative in every Notts situation going

It's just what they do. Tbh it's kinda impressive to go out your way to find the negative from Saturday lol
