this was my main point. how many of you 2 month old eggs were "fresh?"

Could also be related to the chickens' diet as most of the 'popular' Supermarket eggs (not the specialist Cage Reared or Free Range) are most certainly from egg 'factories'.

Top chef Heston Blumenthal got involved with Little Chef. He created a menu for them which was rolled out in 12 of their restaurants after initially being trialled at 1. Didn’t work and all the dishes he created were taken off the menus after not very long. Every restaurant was shut down not long after.

Not very surprising, you can't really see lorry drivers being big fans of the weird stuff he serves.
