I’ve messaged his dad so if I get any more info. I’ll let you know"
If that's the case, it gives an interesting insight into how the loan system might work financially between clubs. I've had a look on the Southend messageboard and not only do their fans seem to rate him very highly, it appears his dad became a poster on there! If someone registers on here under the name 'Borat', take him seriously.

ps to Swale. I think his name is Zak rather than Zac, so it might be polite to amend the thread title.

As spoken about on here earlier this season, if Fword extend the loan of (or permanently sign) Djed Spence from Middlesborough then they will be well covered. Newspaper reports suggest good chance of that happening.
Of course there is always the possibility that they will let him go somewhere else. But that will ruin our relationship as happened with Ryan Yates

It was interesting that IB spoke about trying to sign him in the summer, but that it wasn’t right at that time. Wonder if that potential clause might have something to do with it, either us being impressed enough that we know he’ll be a regular, or Sheff Utd changing their demands.

That was their right. The relationship was ruined by our ex chairman throwing his toys out of the pram.I am hopeful our current owners won’t be so graceless

    Done, cheers for the nudge

By the way, I reckon he bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain Jamie Johnson of Hawkstone United, if anyone knows who that is

Wasn’t Yates’ loan supposed to be until the end of the season? Richardson’s agreement is only a month so they’re on firmer moral ground at least if they decide he needs a higher level.

I’m semi confident he will sign till the end of the season. 3 reasons, firstly we’re on the doorstep which works for the player and them watching, secondly we play decent football and thirdly we are genuinely in a title race which is the test/development of any players character.
