Lg 2 with chein & co philosophy of running a football club

I fully understand your position Shadrack and I admire you for continuing to support the club as you intend. As Animal has alluded to below, it comes down to personal choice. My feelings about even a mention of moving away from Oakwell, leave my opinions of the owners' at a low level; it really shows a total disregard for fans and a repulsive way of operating - there's been no denial of the potential intent to move from Oakwell to my knowledge.

When I say every fan has the right to decide and see this as they see it I do draw the line when it comes to supporting the club in an " Out Of Town " scenario .
The day the club leaves the town is the day it is no longer representative of the Borough Of Barnsley .
In my opinion you lose your Barnsley FC credentials and simply follow the ownership in a franchise manner .
As much as Oakland Raiders fans in the NFL who would continue to support the club even though they now reside in Las Vegas .
Absolutely nobody as far as I'm aware followed Wimbledon to Milton Keynes and why would they ?
This country is culturally different to the rest of the world which is why absolutely nobody despite having two teams in the same town or city would even contemplate sharing the same stadium as Inter and AC Milan do .
Even though it makes financial sense in many respects but culture in this country is way more important than money at least when it comes to our clubs .
If it was it would have happened years ago
You wouldn't have got me through the turnstiles at Coventry City if I was a fan playing in Northampton or at Birmingham City if they were in the top four in the PL .
There are things even today money cannot buy .
Thing is Arb - would you be watching them at New York Stadium ?
I know I wouldn’t.
And I can’t see hardly any Barnsley fans watching them away from Oakwell.
PMG are desperate to develop Oakwell so they can get the club ready to sell it for a big profit in the future.
They can’t do that playing away from Oakwell because the attendances would plummet and they would have high rent to pay while playing at another ground.
Playing away from Oakwell would cost the owners £££millions.
It’s therefore highly unlikely its going to happen.
Unless of course Oakwell is being developed and we need a temporary home.
Or - something terrible happens at Oakwell that loses the owners £££millions to stay there.
You need to have a long good think then when you enter the football industry .
It's a risk and reward industry .
If you don't want to risk losing money then stay clear .
I didn't ask PMG to buy this club and I didn't invent the rules of financial engagement .
Either accept the reality or feck right out of it and experiment at some other club who think you can pull a profit out of zilch investment .
I'll gladly accept our limitations which under its own financial steam is more league one and league two .
There isn't a business I know that hasn't become something bigger , something profitable if it didn't carry a risk to losing investment at some stage .
Either come and play the game you choosed to play or feck off .
Almost any fan ownership model could run this club in the same way in league one or two .
At least a fan ownership model would care about the club's importance in the town , it's history and heritage .
Why would you need a top class Stadium to house a S4ite team? Would you Redevelop your house at a cost of millions, then let the local feral family run riot in it! They won’t redevelop it, even if the family and the council, GAVE them Oakwell for free. It won’t happen. Why should the council and the family trust this lot?
I think they are alienating/disenfranchising the fans to make it less painless when they up sticks and go somewhere else.
I’m nearly sure I’ve read that the owners want better facilities so it will generate more income for the club ie so they can attract better players.
Reading between the lines - the state of Oakwell - especially the West Stand - is a bottleneck that’s holding the club back.
