Was asked to show Covid status on entry. Produced my LFT negative text confirmation. For some reason the Covid app will not update my vax status. Asked the steward for his LFT/Covid status. He duly and politely obliged by showing his confirmation text.

It's no wonder LFTs are reportedly in short supply given their requirement for attendance at sports stadia. Petty minded box ticking bureaucracy, just like the Covid passports. Waste of resources and time.
LFTs are in short supply the world over.

Even in a country like Australia where people have to PAY themselves to have a LFT demand has risen so much that tests that were selling at A$10 (about £5.50) each are now to be found on the shelves at as much as A$30! They call it market forces.

Either way the PM has again announced it is not up to the Government to finance LFTs.

Funnily enough I've had no problem getting hold of NHS supplied LFTs thus far hence why I posted 'reportedly'. I've just followed the the link which I've posted several times recently, located local pharmacies and downloaded the barcodes/serial numbers required. Probably just lucky I suppose 😊 .

But some can do lateral flows for others whether it's as football match or for travel. It's a complete farce! Just arrived back in the country and border force said they you got your locator forms - did not even check them FFS! Lateral flows can even be cheated to a positive or a negative as benefits for some for both confirmations.

So hope nobody thinks they are safe as everyone will be negative in whatever environment as that's not going to happen!

Same as me, due to some family positive Covid results have had to get LFT three times in last 10 days but been able to get refill for both of us via NHS site no problem at all and given one packet to me family to use.
