    Hugo Ekitike

the latest talent to be linked with us.

19 years old, plays for Reims in France, scored 8 goals in 17 games this season.

Will be a huge gamble at 30m. I'd take the chance, probably because we are desperate for a striker.

The kid has lots of skill and tricks up his sleeve, quick feet and an eye for goal

Might be a good signing for the future, but dont sounds like something you need in a relegation dog fight.

Still need another striker if we sign him. Preferably with PL experience

    Think about it like this:

We are staking our survival in the Premier League on the next striker that we sign. That's why fellas like this and Chris Wood would do not excite me.

Yes, we are desperate but a signing like that feels like a bit of a mugging.

    100%

This guy and another like Origi or Wood with PL experience.

I'd offer big Al and Lineker a contract at this stage FFS.

He sounds great, real raw talent. . .

We need settled talent now that can play in prem - we cannot give a young player time to bed in.

Agreed. If you're going to blast money on a 30 yr old, isn't an Aubameyang loan the way to go instead of Wood? I'd get someone young and fast now (Origi) and Auba when he's finished at ACON - remember that he's missing some games with Covid.

Origi + Auba + Wilson is a half-decent blend of youth and speed and desire and greed (it rhymes) all with PL experience to see us through...

    Exactly this.

Summer? Aye but not now, not unless there was a bigger, more established name coming with him. No time for taking a chance, unfortunately.

Problem is Aubameang is a C**T and I'm not sure he's the right personality type for us at this point. However if he comes in and has a point to prove to Arsenal I'd take the pr!ck on a loan for the 2nd half of the season.

Loan only, for me,agree he’s a prick, wonder what the disciplinary reason was, stripped of the captaincy, not good!
