Hi All,

If anyone is heading south for the game next week & wants any tips on parking, pubs, food etc either ask on the thread or PM me & happy to give advice.

I do not use Dale as a choice on our prediction league but have put the game as our bonus 1 point one for Griff 😀

I will be honest on any questions and Chalky & Griff will vouch I will am not setting you up to be robbed 😀👍

Right outside the away end Willbuts Lane chippy… tbh, never been it but has great reviews ask Stan Collymore 😀

There are not that many pubs near the ground.. the Church is now a housing estate..

The Black Dog will be open & a 15 minute walk (god I miss the place.. 10 weeks tomorrow &#128560…

👍. Dogdale can be rough & more so in some town centre pubs.. I have lived here for many many years & I do not go into the town centre for a beer very often if ever… some nice pubs & I know a lot of people in them but for me, but would not recommend like the Regal Moon (Witherspoons right near the tram stop)…

I park on an estate near the ground with Mrs BDB (and used to be our boy as well until he’s grown out of it) & I’m too fat & lazy for a 15 minute walk &#129300 again, ashamed in someways to say but think every club has it’s “Yoof”…

Also there’s the issue of Sandy Lane.. a 10 minute walk parking could save you 30 mins trying to get to the Cem as one road & busy on match days..

Club does not take debit cards in the stands, we’re not cashless & the Cem has a minimum amount before you can use a card… Neither does the Radcliffe Arms..

There is not a lot left to go with near the ground anymore.. Covid killed the Star & Cutgate Chippy 😢
