You got the nail on the head. Ladapo on his day is a good striker. Grigg on his day has good movement and arguably a good touch.

Yes we all agree ladapo could have handled it differently though It's not ladapos fault the request got leaked. Plus of the request hadn't gone in most would say Smith/ladapo are the starting front 2.
Surely the leak came from Freddie's side somewhere though? Why would the club leak it when they don't want to sell nor have it known a player wants out? I don't get that. Must have been his agent but that's me purely speculating, I don't get who else it would have been and for what reason.

You can tell he's a good player and gives the squad something different.
He's the least selfish of the forwards we have. He complements Smudge's strengths, while Freddie doesn't. Kayode shows promise as a Griggs type of player. If he continues to develop, he and Smudge could be a great combination in the future.

If it was the agent who leaked it I'm not sure it would have been 4-5 days after the request was sent. There was whispers at the game on the Tuesday night. Think club made it public on the wed/Thursday of that week. Agent can inform teams of players available without the press help

Yeah if memory serves they made it public either the day after or 2 days after we beat Crewe in the Pizza cup. Strange one if it wasn't his agent or the club, maybe someone heard it on the grapevine and leaked it. Forced the question to be asked and the club obviously didn't lie.

It was made public, via Twitter, by a journalist in Manchester. RUFC wanted to keep it in-house. Who notified the journo I don't know.

What's up with these replies 'originally posted by' being inaccurate and the 'quote' part above being the actual author of the reply? Hurting my head haha. Gremlins in the system.

No, just 1 end of quote got deleted by someone at the start of it all and the whole series became misaligned. I've fixed it for you now

He’s laboured and imo offers not a lot else.
If we are going on movement and that’s what we’re paying him for then I’ll play cause I can run around a lot.

Let’s hope he scores hatrick tonight and shuts me up. I won’t hold my breath though.
Well this is the team to do it against, Doncaster GD -32

First things first, CAM please do not take my post down and stick it on tonights post match thoughts. This needs to stay on this particular thread, thanks.

Well I have to say without fear of contradiction, that was Grogg's finest performance for us to date, absolute joy to watch. His control, link up play, spreading it wide and creating chances that didn't looked on were a sight to behold.

Strong in the challenge and the head, he remained composed all the time before his, what I thought was unnecessary substitution, but Warney saw fit to bring Kayode on and we all know what happened next.

    Well done Will........more please!
