Rotherham need to be looking over their shoulder for the long arm of the EFL, whereas the likes of Derby would not need to lose any sleep
Watch the incident back. I didn't see the lad swing a punch. He kicked the ball off the penalty spot and stumbled into the penalty taker. When Smith grabs him the Accrington number 11 McConville can clearly be seen either punching or pushing the lad in the face.
As for a points deduction if we lose points for that then I'm done with football.
Coleman saying the game should have been abandoned is a complete joke. He wouldn't have been saying that if the lad scored.
A worldie goal and outstanding goalkeeping won us that game.
    Onwards to Wimbledon! UTM.

Definitely wasn’t that young, id say over 16 at least with the other one at least 18

If we get a fine from the EFL/FA can't we sue the lad for it??

I don't think there is a precedent for a points deduction.Birmingham certainly didn't get one for the incident involving Jack Grealish the other year and that WAS assault. The BBC Football headlines this morning never mention it.They are more interested in what went on at Morecombe. Im not condoning what the lad did but certain people and authorities do tend to get carried away with themselves. He ran onto the pitch and kicked a ball off a penalty spot. That's it! I'll await the end of the season and watch the illegal pitch invasions across the country at all the promoted teams and expect mass lifetime bans in their thousands.

I did notice 11 push him in the face, but I lad swings his arm at the penalty take.

The lad was later outside the police station smoking with family members bragging about what he had done. Don't know if it was is father or brother or what but he was being pointed at by a guy and "He smacked that Stanley player and they've done F all".

Yes, boasting. Most ignored, some called him a banker etc.

Absolutely desperate for attention and recognition. Utter failures at life. The sort of scum that the world would be better off without.

The sister of one is saying they haven’t been told they’re banned.

So either they’re not listening, lying or club haven’t actually spoke to them yet.

She also believes he won us game so we should be happy 🤬

That wouldn't surprise me in the least.

On the same topic, how much progress has been made in finding the other trouble causers the club say they've been looking for?

Double **** all I would guess

Good on Smith for getting hold off lad who looked a little shocked (having looked back on it) , maybe he realised it was stupid thing to do (maybe)

Their player that did hold and shove the lad imo is a coward (look back) and he should also receive a fine

Also look at the steward who just let them run on 🤔
