    Arse-nal Matchday Thread

Don't know what to expect from this game really. Certainly if we start with Silva and Podence up front again we aint going to score unless by a miracle. But there again I'm not convinced by Arsenal either or the hype over their manager that the media keeps trying to stuff down our throats.

Hopefully we will just squeeze a close win.

    Come on mi Babbies!!!!!

Line up changes from the weekend- Sa instead of Ruddy, Saiss instead of Toti, Marcal instead of Ait-Nouri. No Moutinho, not even sub, so Dendoncker and Neves in the middle. Trincao starts up front with Raul and Podence. Subs include Chan… and Jonny Otto!

    Wolves v Arsenal (19:45 GMT)

A few returning Wolves players as they make five changes from their FA Cup defeat by Norwich.

Francisco Trincao returns from Covid and Romain Saiss is back after the Africa Cup of Nations.

Jose Sa, Marcal and Raul Jimenez also come back into the team. Joao Moutinho is out.

Jonny Castro Otto is on the bench, having not played since last March because of knee problems.

Hwang Hee-chan is also on the bench following an injury.

Wolves: Sa, Marcal, Coady, Kilman, Saiss, Semedo, Dendoncker, Neves, Podence, Trincao, Jimenez. Subs: Ruddy, Hoever, Ait-Nouri, Silva, Jonny, Chiquinho, Toti, Hwang, Cundle.

Tidy first twenty minutes for both teams. Evenly matched pretty match. But neither team look likely to score at the moment. Or any moment to be honest!

Messy goal but it looks a lot more than we are capable of. We have nothing happening up front.

Not the most inspiring first half, a sloppy goal conceded and Arsenal having the better chances. Glimpses of what Trincao and Podence can do, the latter really starting to test the right side of Arsenals defence towards the end of the half... not sure where the goals going to come from though? Dendonckers done OK but he hasn't got Moutinho's guile, he's a big miss tonight.

...and so the Wolves malaise continues as, once again,. we show our lack of genuine threat - Neto pleeeze get well soon !!! If Arsenal's bully boys continue to intimidate Podence we may yet see a red card.....COYW !!!

I don't know why The Arse are bothering wasting time we won't do anything with it if we get it.

Offside, Red card, what next. A genuine goal for us? Unlikely.
